Cold Call Killer

Working at a call center, I did my best to help the caller. However, I was new, so of course I made some mistakes. The caller got angry and threatened to report me. I know that I made a mistake, but I didn’t deserve that verbal abuse. Since I was working from home, I decided to have fun and lie. I told them a fake name and that I lived in a house nearby the office that I was answering for. The caller laughed, called me stupid for just giving up my information like that, and that they would kill me before hanging up.

At the end of the day, my supervisor fired me as they overheard what I said. I didn't care. I hated working there anyways. I turned on the news and saw that the caller and the people who lived in that house all died in a fight amongst each other. I smiled watching the news. Those people were now gone. They could no longer verbally abuse me.

Although I no longer had a job, I figured to keep making calls like that. In a way, they were prank calls designed to lower my chances of ever being verbally abused again. No one will know it’s me. As long as I hide my number and lie about my name and address, I will soon rid the world of selfish assholes who want to gain superiority over underpaid workers who are struggling to make a living.
